  1. Thanks Ryan, really needed to find that. I have to add that compared to wiundows, I have not had much need for this before today though.

    Cheers

  4. I’m running the default installation of 10.0.4 Ubuntu on a MacBookPro4,1 (single boot) and everything has locked up except the mouse. Right-clicking anywhere doesn’t bring up a menu. ALT-F2 doesn’t work. ALT-Tab doesn’t switch applications. Are there any other key combinations to try before I just power down my computer with the power button?

Yeah, thanks Ryan that was a handy tip about adding force quit to the menu bar thingy. I am trying out Zorin right now…..I have been using Ubuntu and Mint in the past. Actually, Zorin is quite good you know. I started using it as I was looking for a Linux distro that would ease friends into the Linux experience. How did I migrate to Linux? Me, a very non computer knowledgeable person…..it was the fault of Vista. I am now turning into computer nerdy guy…..and proud of it actually. Linux has gently brought me into the fold.

    Thanks again for tip.
