High school has ended and transcripts are being mailed to our colleges of choice. Last Thursday, I turned in my formal final transcript forms. Yes, I turned in forms. I turned in two: one for the University of Minnesota and one for myself. Honestly, it was kind of a joke – I never thought that they would seriously send it to unconfirmed address. But they did anyway.
Now, I’m armed with the results of my final year of high school. I think it’s quite something.
Somehow, out of 489 students, I managed to get the 50th position. The 49 students below be are staggeringly genius. A weighted GPA of 4.20 is impressive and my non-weighted GPA would have stilled qualified me for honors. All-around, I’m proud of what I did there. It was a lot of work over those last four years – all for a piece of paper that says I’m high.

I never would have tried getting my transcript that way. They redid student portal, it looks nice. It funny that they all ways change things the year after you go.
